Welcome to the Samhain Fire Celebration! Join us for a magical evening filled with fire dancers, music, and family orients fun at the Anchorage Senior Activity Center. With a theme of "Once Upon a Time", embrace the spirit of Samhain as we gather to honor our ancestors and welcome the darker half of the year. Dinner will be available for purchase at the Arctic Rose Restaurant on site. Let's come together to celebrate the turning of the seasons and connect with the energy of the earth. Don't miss out on this unforgettable night of community, connection, and celebration! Tickets are $25 in advance for adults, $10 for children 5 - 16 At the Door - $35 Adults, $30 military and seniors, $10 children Events of the Evening- Once Upon a Time: Old & New Fire Ceremonies: The Old Fire is lit at the start of the evening, symbolizing our ancestors and the past year. Later in the evening the Old Fire shall be extinguished to light the New Fire, symbolizing our hopes for the year ahead. Game : Your own adventures to enjoy, corresponding with the theme of the evening. Prizes: Kids’ Costume Parade
Silent Auction: Many thanks to all who donated items for the Silent Auction, and to the bidders and happy winners. Our auction proceeds help fund the CCA educational fund which helps defray costs of the Celtic Fest in the Spring. Have fun out-bidding for your favorite items! Food and Drink: Food for purchase until 8:30pm. Featuring Chef Will’s autumn specials and other selections on the Arctic Rose dinner menu, and a no host bar with beer, wine, cider, & mead will also be available until 10:15pm. Music & Dancing: Live music and free dancing during the evening, and an easy-to-learn group-participation ceili dance.
We feature the Old Year and the New Year fires, and a ceremony to transition the time of the year when the veil between the worlds is thin. Music, dancing, singing, and a cultural game! Dinner will be available for purchase.

‘Auld Lang Syne': To end the evening, follow the procession outside, and gather at the New Fire to sing the traditional song, “Auld Lang Syne”.
